Please join us for the 5th Annual DC Poetry Festival on August 28, 2009 at 7:30PM. It will be held at the Carter Barron Ampitheater - 16th and Colorado Avenue, NW - Washington, DC.
This year our Special Guest Artists will be Gil Scott Heron and Abidoun Oyewole co-founder of The Last Poets.
This is a FREE Community event, your donation will help us to continue to bring the best of Spoken Word/Poetry to Washington, DC. Please make your donation through Pay Pal.
Our event this year will also include the DC Poet Laureate, Dolores Kendrick, The DC Youth Slam Team, The DC Slam Team, Brother Earl, Charan P, Steve B and Friends.
